ARTIST

A Swedish painter, drawer and sculptor, born in 1958, Härd works with oil, acrylic, gouache, drawing and wood sculpture. He tries to explore things that stand out in an unusual way in the interplay between humans and their environment. He has exhibited in Sweden, France, the West Indies and the US. He is represented at the Nordic Heritage Museum of Seattle.

"I took all kinds of evening classes in drawing and painting during my childhood. Later on I studied art in a private art school in Liège, Belgium. After art school, I practiced and worked 4 years with different artist around in Europe.

"We are all living in a big pool with all kinds of good and bad liquids, and it's not always easy to know if we are swimming, standing, floating or drowning in water or fire."
